We were very sorry to hear the sad news that one of our lovely volunteers, John Gibbon, has passed away. John had been here since the early days & worked tirelessly until his illness.
He was a larger than life character with a mischievous sense of humour. One day he announced he’d found an unusual daffodil tree. Of course it was 1st April!
He’s greatly missed by his friends here at the Garden & our thoughts are with his family.
